In honor of the River Cats’ 10th season, the team has unveiled a logo that not only celebrates a decade of great memories and special moments, but also tells the story of River Cats baseball and the team’s unprecedented success.
Four (4) Red Stars
![]() Four (4) red stars represent each Pacific Coast League Championship the River Cats have won since 2000 (’03, ’04, ’07 and ’08). Barry Zito, Nick Swisher, Eric Byrnes, Kurt Suzuki and Mark Ellis are just a few of the great players who have played for the River Cats and guided the team to one of the most successful decades in the history of Minor League Baseball.
One (1) White Star
To represent the greatest fans in all of baseball, who have led the River Cats to 9 consecutive Minor League Baseball attendance titles (and counting!). Huge, energetic crowds have become known throughout the country as a hallmark of River Cats baseball and the team’s extraordinary success thus far couldn’t have been accomplished without their unparalleled support.
Diamond
The diamond represents Raley Field, an institution in the Sacramento Valley and one of the premier facilities in all of Minor League Baseball. The venue has become synonymous with affordability family entertainment through the years, hosting a myriad of events, concerts and festivals to go along with River Cats baseball games.
Tower Bridge
The golden towers of the Tower Bridge are emblematic of the fantastic view and wonderful experience at Raley Field. The shining towers of the Sacramento landmark are not only an integral part of the ballpark’s summer skyline, but a symbol of the connection with the communities of both Sacramento and West Sacramento that the River Cats have established in their 10 seasons.
10th Season
Since the River Cats’ inaugural 2000 season, the team has tallied four (4) Pacific Coast League Championships, seven (7) division titles, four (4) Pacific Coast League MVPs and nine (9) Minor League Baseball attendance crowns….all in just under one decade!
